Description

With over four decades of dedicated practice, study and research, the author introduces an unconventional approach to the traditional technical and conceptual aspects of martial arts, exploring the broader psychosomatics to transcend the purely physical realm. Focusing on the Sundanese style of penca Sera, originating from the island of Java, this book embarks on a meticulous exploration of practices aimed at fostering the holistic development of individuals. It delves deep into the essence of Jurus (martial forms), recognising them as the authentic foundation of Pencak Silat. By focusing on how these practices can serve as tools for personal exploration, the author gives the reader the chance to unlock the gateway to a profound journey of individual evolution.
