Description

A mother has no greater pain than to watch helplessly as her child breaks down over a man. When Davon and Funise's promising future and 10 year marriage goes down the drain, it seems life can't get any worse for her. Her mother's sudden passing forces Funise to find the will to go on alone. Compelled to reestablish a shaky relationship with her sister, Mia who has always been jealous of Funise since childhood, major conflicts ensue. Little did she know she might find her salvation in Pastor Jon Adams. A handsome and humble man of God he shepherds the small church Funise's mother attended. His quiet strength helps Funise to get back on her feet. Being a spiritual man of few words, he sees Funise at her best and worst ultimately finding he has fallen in love with her. After a brutal rape, sibling rivalry and marital conflict Jon will be faced with a challenge that tests both his faith and Funise's ability to trust again. As Funise copes with drama provided by her soon to be ex-husband and sister, Mia, she holds to the one thing that was taken from her. One sister's secret could change their lives, but would it be for the better or worse?
